We know there are some great tearooms in Chicago.

President Abraham Lincoln regularly purchased teas in Springfield.
At least two stores have records of him buying "a pound of the best."
The Smithsonian Museum also has preserved a beautiful Gorham silver tea and coffee set that was a gift to First Lady Mary Todd Lincoln.
President Ronald Reagan from Tampico and First Lady Nancy hosted countless teas with guests from around the world, including one with Prince Charles and Princess Diana in the Yellow Room of the White House.
