About Sharon Jones
Welcome to my green tea website!
I am currently a health science writer living in rural Oregon, with 50 years of formal study and practical experience in laboratory sciences and health care, including over 2 years post-doctoral studies in mainstream, traditional, and alternative health sciences.
Other activities include Mensa, creating abstract art paintings, and planting trees.
I created this website for you because of the extensive research on the health benefits of green tea over the last two decades.
As you explore the green tea scientific evidence, you may choose to include daily green tea in your healthy lifestyle. Of course, you must always check with your health care provider about lifestyle changes if you are being treated for a health condition.
Supporting this site
People have asked me how they can help support this site in appreciation for the free information.
It's true--it takes time (and money) to create and maintain this website.
Furthermore, profits are dedicated to my tree-planting project in Oregon, USA.
The trees I plant include Giant Sequoia (Sequoiadendron), Sequoia Coast Redwood, Ponderosa Pine, Garry Oak, English Oak, Chinese Empress Paulownia, Ginkgo, Sugar Maple, Big Leaf Maple, Quaking Aspen, Douglas Fir, Noble Fir, Incense Cedar, Spruce, and more.
I have planted over 15,000 trees in my life (on different properties), but now must hire assistance for most of the work.
I believe planting trees is a worthy investment in future generations on our planet.
If you like this website and/or want to support planting trees,
Social Media Help
Since I live in a rural area of Oregon, USA (still using dial-up means tweeting and facebook are too difficult), I appreciate your support using social media.
If you enjoy nature photography or abstract art paintings, you can purchase my art prints (over 200 to choose from as low as $22) here:
50 Shades Of Grey, painting series in grey, silver, black, and white. Number 13 is left to your imagination.
Red Hotties, vibrant reds in flows and splatters.
Soothing Blues, from deep cobalt blue to pastels.
Abstract Plants, Zen-like lines representing leaves and grasses.
Strange Creatures, who knows what lurks behind the painting?
Peaceful Ocean, underwater and beach abstracts.
Tide Pools, with sandy stones and lifeforms.
Bold And Beautiful, vivid colors with bold impacts.
Abstract Medical Art. I have no explanation for the anatomy in these paintings.
