These teapots (Yixing is pronounced vEEshing) are among the worlds’ most sought after tea serving pieces.

They are famous for enhancing the flavor of a single tea, for their unique beauty, and their history.

The pot seasons itself with each use, making your brewed tea more, and more flavorful. Don’t change teas with these teapots as they absorb the flavor of each variety. Use one for your Dragonwell, a different one for your Gyokuro, and another for your Gunpowder, Chun Mee, or Sencha.

To assure the best taste, clean them with fresh water only. Never use soap on this work of art.

Each one is handmade in the Jiangsu province of China near Shanghai. The Zisha clay and manufacturing processes are lead-free, creating a safe and healthy utensil.

Each one is also unique. While their beautiful designs may be similar, each one is handmade with its own individual variations.

Here's a selection to start your own collection and for fabulous tea lover gifts.
