Tea Party with Shannon
by Dennis
(Arizona)
Tea parties have been an important part in the lives of all of my children. From the moment they could talk, so it seems, it was "daddy, lets have a tea party".
Let's see, four little girls, several different plastic tea sets and at least one hundred and thirty one thousand tea parties.
At least now when they come to visit we can use the real china and use real tea. It was in November one year that my youngest met her first imaginary friends. They were Ghost, Pumpkin and Witch. Hmm, wonder where those name came from? Those friends stayed with us for at least a year and were invited to many a tea party.
That's right, a tea party for me, Shannon, Ghost, Pumpkin and Witch, just about every day. For some reason those are the ones I will never forget.
Whenever I am under the weather, I sit back with a cup of Jasmine tea, with a little honey, and I think about those wonderful tea parties. It always makes me feel better.
