Here are 10 ideas to create wonderful memories for you and your children:

1. Choose a comfortable location

This unique childhood party can take place at a grand hotel, library, church, outdoors, or at home.

2. For an elegant party, call your larger city hotels or resorts for Holiday Teddy Bear Teas.

This is a great occasion for you, your children, and their toys to dress up in your prettiest clothing.

3. How about an Anytime Party?

Toys have times in their lives when they need to sit down with children, adults, and imaginary friends to talk about their day over a cup of tea.

Use a special miniature tea set, some cookies and milk, a little diluted and flavored green tea, and capture these fleeting moments.

4. Want a great birthday celebration at home?

Choose fancy or casual depending on your age group.

The bears are the stars of the show, so ask the children who are going to attend to send you pictures (photos or drawings) of their toys ahead of time.

Put these up around the room so everyone feels welcome.

5. Invitations should be addressed to the teddy bear and friends.

Use clip art and stickers to decorate them.

6. Plan on using paper party supplies for a fast and easy cleanup.

About the only thing that cannot be disposable are the china tea cups.

Themes include CareBears, ValentineBears, VictorianBears, even BikerBears.

7. Food should be simple.

Avoid sticky fingers or keep a lot of washcloths for little fingers before they play with the toys.

Offer easy theme based cookies or cake, and peanut butter finger sandwiches (checking for allergies beforehand, of course).

8. Crafts should also be simple.

Ribbons for hair ornaments, handmade jewelry are easy. Dress up is always fun with feathered hats for the girls and fake moustaches for the boys.

Find second-hand small children’s or baby clothing and offer child-safe coloring pens or cut out sponges to stamp colorful patterns on them.

9. After the clothing dries, toss it into a pile for a game of “Dress the bear.”

When you say go, whoever gets their toy completely dressed, wins.

10. Your teddy bear tea party works even better with a few parents for extra eyes and hands.

Be sure to take lots of photos for great memories.

Enjoy!
